This past summer I spent a great amount of time out and about. I visited some of the various fairs in and around my community.
While visiting booths and chatting with the owners I found a common thread.
They have great products and do really well at the fairs but they don’t know how to market themselves. They don’t know that by telling their story online that they can market themselves to the whole community around them.

I’m often asked what I do. I smile sweetly and tell those around me that I’m an Inbound Marketer. Often getting a blank look back. On occasion, I will get someone who actually asks what that is.
By definition is promoting a company through blogs, podcasts, video, eBooks, newsletters, whitepapers, SEO, physical products, social media marketing, and other forms of content marketing which serve to attract customers through the different stages of the purchase funnel.
